Originally from Australia, my interest in advanced composites developed from working in various engineering functions at Boeing Aerostructures Australia (BAA) and Boeing Research & Technology – Australia (BR&T–A).

 My interest in this material led me to pursue a PhD in composites manufacturing.  Composites process simulation is a niche research discipline. I am inspired that my research will contribute to demystifying (and de-risking!) empirical composites manufacturing practice through the use of fundamental scientific knowledge.

 When I’m not focused on the ‘big picture’ with respect to composites manufacturing research, I enjoy watching foreign films, dancing and exploring British Columbia.
