Biography

Originally from Cochrane, Alberta, I am currently pursuing my Masters in Materials Engineering at the University of British Columbia. I completed my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Calgary. During my undergrad, I had the opportunity to work abroad at the Institute for Biomechanics at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. There, I  worked on osteoarthritis-related research. My current research focus lies in the field of composites engineering for aerospace applications. Specifically, I am investigating the processability of sandwich panels in collaboration with Boeing Winnipeg.

I am an avid outdoor enthusiast with a passion for skiing, mountaineering, and climbing. When I’m not in the lab I spend most of my time seeking adventure in the mountains with friends.
