Casey James Keulen holds a PhD from the University of Victoria (Mechanical Engineering) and a Professional Engineering License (PEng) in the province of British Columbia. His research interests include processing of out-of-autoclave composite materials (specifically liquid composite moulding processes), embedded fiber optic smart composite structures, and automotive composites. His previous work history includes over two years with Profile Composites Inc. working on various projects in the wind energy, pressure vessel and marine fields as well as two years with Lo-Rez Vibration Control Ltd specializing in mounting and coupling large diesel engines in powertrains. As a personal project, Casey has developed an innovative snow ski design with a 3D curved base specific to off-piste powder skiing.
